Ellie & Sophia

Ellie is the brown and white shephard mix, she is approximately 1 1/2 years old. Sophia is the black (with white neck) lab mix, she is approximately 3 mos old. They were found in a swamp at Beautancus about a month ago. The gentleman who found them can't keep them. He has been fostering them but will not be able to after next Thursday (April 15).

Both girls have had their intial shots and are being treated for worms. Ellie will be spayed sometime in the next two weeks and this will be honored for whom ever can foster her or give her a forever home. Sophia is not quite old enough but her spay will also be honored.

I know that is difficult enough to adopt one dog much less two, however these girls have a very strong bond and we would love for them to be adopted together. I believe Ellie must have adopted Sophia and looked out for her b/c she gets very antsy when Sophia is not in her sight and Sophia looks so scared when not near Ellie.

They are both such sweet babies and deserve a loving home. If you can't adopt them maybe you could foster them until we can find them a permanent home. And even if you can't do either perhaps you could be the one who forwards this email to the person who can. Thank you so much for your help. I know we can't save them all but we can save some.

I love my new place but it is a little too small for me especially during this busy time of year with all the tourist. I need a place where I can run off all this energy. Sierra
Sierra is an owner-surrender dog. She's a yellow lab/golden retriever mix who is about 2-3 years old and 38lbs. She's housebroken, good with children and cats. She is now up-to-date on shots (including rabies) but isn't spayed yet. Plans to have her spayed have been made. Contact Dawn if you are interested 635-0102.
